We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Griffith University's Dental Clinic. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the delivery of high-quality dental services.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, providing a range of chair-side assistance to ensure each procedure runs smoothly.
- Work closely with colleagues to monitor patient conditions, support oral hygiene education, and reassure patients about their ongoing treatment.
- Provide administrative and reception assistance as required by the Team Leader, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic, including sterilising and maintaining dental equipment.
- Australian Dental Assistant qualification or recognised equivalent.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate from a recognised provider or willingness to obtain prior to commencing work.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under supervision and ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Strong administrative skills.
