Warehouse Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Manager to join our team in a challenging role that involves managing warehouse operations, supervising a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of warehouse management principles, including inventory control, storage and handling procedures, and supply chain management. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing warehousing and storage operations to support program delivery, ensuring that inventory is accurately received, stored, and dispatched in line with program timelines.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and executing warehousing and storage operations to support program delivery;
  • Ensuring inventory is accurately received, stored, and dispatched in line with program timelines;
  • Supporting continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process optimisation opportunities;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet supply chain and service delivery requirements;
  • Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently;
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate warehouse records and systems;
  • Contributing to a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will be a collaborative and driven leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will also have extensive experience (8+ years) in warehouse and storage operations across aviation or related industries, proven leadership experience in managing warehouse teams, budgets, and service delivery performance, and a deep understanding of warehousing cost drivers and optimisation strategies.

The Skills and Experience We Are Looking For

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in warehouse and storage operations across aviation or related industries;
  • Proven leadership experience in managing warehouse teams, budgets, and service delivery performance;
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse KPIs, regulatory compliance, and Defence supply systems (e.g. MILIS, SAP);
  • Deep understanding of warehousing cost drivers and optimisation strategies;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and resolve complex service issues;
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in line with industry standards.
