Salary:
$250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus attractive remuneration packages available.
Job Description:
This Consultant Paediatrician position provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing safe and effective paediatric specialist services, including inpatient and outpatient services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to junior medical and other clinical staff, supporting the Hospital's teaching, research, and clinical governance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 4 neonatal services
- Develop and implement high-quality clinical services that meet the needs of patients and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in paediatrics, with a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) within the Paediatrics Division and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Specialist Paediatrician. You will also require appropriate clinical experience and training in Neonatology, Ambulatory and acute General Paediatrics as well as Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics.
