Companion Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking a volunteer to support the spiritual and emotional needs of an elderly gentleman living in Mona Vale.

The client values regular companionship and conversations around his strong history of Christian faith. He enjoys chatting about sports, travel, history, and other experiences.

You will visit the client on a regular basis, providing companionship and conversation, and supplementing the work of our Pastoral Care Coordinator.

  • Support people to meet their spiritual needs.

Suitable for someone with high level interpersonal skills, including empathy and listening skills, and past experience in pastoral care or chaplaincy.

This is a rewarding opportunity that can improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation for the client.

Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.

Requirements

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
