We are seeking a skilled Offshore Marine Engineer to join our Construction Team. The ideal candidate will have experience with marine construction, including the installation of precast intake structures, HDPE outfall diffuser pipelines, and offshore piling, drilling, and grouting operations.
- The successful candidate will plan, control, and oversee complex offshore logistics and marine operations, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with safety protocols.
This role offers a dynamic and challenging work environment where you can grow and develop your career. To be successful in this position, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Jack Up barge operations and procedures.
- Expertise in offshore piling, drilling, and grouting works.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify hazards and enforce safety protocols.
- Contribute to engineering and design outcomes that support efficient marine construction.
- Develop and manage complex lifting and diving operations.
- Oversee offshore vessel management and logistics management.
- Prepare budgets, accruals, and takeoffs, and develop first principle estimates and monitor daily costs.
- Review design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements, and job safety analysis and quality.
- Conduct risk assessments, identifying hazards, and enforcing safety protocols to mitigate potential incidents.
- Act as a point of contact for technical discussions with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
