Agri Business Development Professional

The role of Agri Business Development Professional involves providing expert advice to producers on environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production, conducting soil testing, and analyzing other factors impacting production to offer sound fertilizer, nutrient, and soil recommendations, thereby enhancing quality and yield.

  • This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse range of horticulture/broadacre cropping.
  • You will work collaboratively with staff to drive promotions, merchandising, and sales performance.
  • Responsibility for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining successful partnerships with customers, delivering relevant agronomic advice and services.
  • A history of success in executing sales outcomes using specialized knowledge of fertilizers, seeds, and chemical products and their applications applicable to those crops.
  • Demonstrating excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2 - 3 years experience in establishing and maintaining successful partnerships with customers, delivering relevant agronomic advice and services.
  • Valid driver's license; a forklift license is advantageous.
