Job Description

As a System Engineer at White Bay Search, you will collaborate closely with the Sales Team to gather technical requirements and design tailored solutions for clients. Your responsibilities will include creating project proposals, technical documents, and handling procurement activities.

You will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Effective communication and issue resolution skills are crucial in maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in system engineering, preferably in a System Integrator or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in system administration for operating systems like Windows Server, Linux, and Unix.
  • Networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
  • Virtualization proficiency (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
  • Experience with storage systems (SAN, NAS) and database management (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Understanding of network security principles, firewall configuration, and identity authentication.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
