The role of the Academic Mentor Secondary is to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs.
Liverpool Girls High School is a comprehensive girls' high school with an enrolment of approximately 760 students serving a diverse area of South West Sydney. The school prides itself on its multicultural background, with over 89% of students coming from a language background other than English.
Main Responsibilities:
- Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (secondary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (secondary) in regular classes.
- To establish effective partnerships with students, staff, families, service providers and the community to improve student outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
