As a Senior Project Manager at Arcadis, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services, business development, and brand enhancement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of project management services and proposals;
  • Delivering sound and effective leadership and project management services;
  • Developing and implementing project execution plans and obtaining stakeholder buy-in;
  • Managing projects within the framework of risk, sustainability, and environmental considerations;
  • Implementing and managing effective financial and project controls;
  • Driving project performance, service delivery, and technical and commercial outcomes;
  • Providing project teams with leadership and technical guidance;
  • Liaising with clients to ensure works are delivered to their expectations;
  • Reviewing the performance of team members and developing them to their full potential.

Requirements include:

  • Extensive project management experience in major infrastructure projects;
  • A strong design management background;
  • Proficiency in forming enduring relationships and transforming them into commercial opportunities;
  • Ability to negotiate, network, and communicate well on industry-specific matters;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • Experience in managing complex projects on behalf of clients;
  • Experience of working in a tendered project services environment;
  • Sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures;
  • Proven ability to operate and influence at senior levels;
  • Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience.
