Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced leader to spearhead the development and implementation of automation strategies that drive efficiency, innovation, and quality within their organisation.

About the Role: In this position, you will lead the identification and delivery of automation initiatives that streamline operations, improve service delivery, and solidify our technological advancement. You will manage the end-to-end automation lifecycle, ensure continuous enhancement, and promote a culture of productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement an automation roadmap that aligns with business needs and organisational strategic objectives.
  2. Develop policies for managing automation-related risks and ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international regulations, standards, and best practices.
  3. Stay up-to-date with current and upcoming regulations and technological trends in the realms of RPA, AI, and ML, and adjust the organisational automation framework as necessary.
  4. Oversee adherence to legal, privacy, and security guidelines within all automation projects, safeguarding data integrity and customer trust.
  5. Collaborate with data management teams to ensure that data fed into automation and AI systems is clean, accurate, and reliable.
  6. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate transparent communication on automation strategies, gauge effectiveness, and drive continuous improvements in line with business objectives.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certifications in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI or ML technologies.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in technology roles, with a minimum of 5 years specialising in automation, including leadership in deployment and management of RPA and AI/ML solutions.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of automation tools, scripting languages, and AI/ML integration.
