About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne, AU. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing input into the site logistics plan, including site amenities, housing, entry/exit traffic management, cranage, hoisting, security, and waste management.
  • Ensuring subcontractors complete their work in accordance with the scope of work and programme provided by the Project Manager.
  • Obtaining and reviewing SWMS from subcontractors before they commence on site.
  • Performing regular inspections on subcontractors' work to ensure it conforms to specifications, drawings, and QA check sheets.
  • Coordinating storage of goods and materials.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of all drawings and specifications, including specialist trade contractor/shop drawings relevant to the section of work or element nominated.
  • Working with the Project Coordinator to implement and monitor the QA plan throughout the project duration.
  • Assisting in overall project management by reviewing construction methods and site performance, and coordinating trade contractors against planned activities and programmes.

  • Status as a permanent resident of Australia.
