St John WA is a leading healthcare provider seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at the Perth Custodial Facility.

Job Description:

We are looking for skilled professionals who can work 12-hour shifts, including nights, to provide high-quality patient care in a safe and secure environment. Previous custodial experience is valuable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess and manage the health and wellbeing of persons in custody
  • To develop and implement individualised care plans to promote health and wellbeing
  • To maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
  • To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registered RN with no conditions
  • 5+ years' recent acute nursing experience
  • Current National Police Clearance (issued within last 3 months)
  • Current WA WWC (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid/ALS Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Sound reasoning, clinical and assessment skills
  • Venipuncture competent
  • High level of communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass through background and integrity checks
  • ED or Custodial nursing experience highly desirable
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate advantageous
  • Mental Health experience advantageous
