Procurement Specialist

Job Role Overview
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of required parts, raising orders for purchase and repair, evaluating quotes against pre-defined criteria, meeting internal and external procurement needs efficiently, interrogating multiple systems and manipulating data output effectively, taking ownership of procurement issues and resolving them in a timely manner, developing strong working relationships with stakeholders, and promoting continuous improvement and identifying industry best practices to enhance efficiency and cost control.
Main Responsibilities:
- Procuring goods and services from start to finish.
- Raising purchase orders and tracking their status.
- Evaluating quotes and selecting suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery time.
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
