Job Overview

A Construction Manager - Fit Out is required to oversee the internal Fit-Out, finishes, and façade packages for a major metro station project in Western Sydney.

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors and materials, and ensure works are delivered on time.
  • They will also review and interpret drawings, plans, and inspection test plans, ensuring delivery aligns with design and quality standards.
  • This role involves supporting quality, safety, and commissioning activities, as well as maintaining site records.
  • The Construction Manager will identify and resolve on-site issues in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
  • Progress monitoring and lookahead planning, along with contributing to project reporting, are key responsibilities of this position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with complex building or infrastructure projects involving Fit-Out, finishes, and façade delivery, as well as MEP integration.
  • Effective management of subcontractors and construction teams.
  • A strong understanding of construction sequencing and buildability.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering projects on time.
