Our goal is to create a safer and more compassionate community, where people living with mental illness receive the support and understanding they need to recover and thrive.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Strategy. This role will play a critical part in shaping our organisational direction and ensuring we remain at the forefront of forensic mental health care.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in strategy development, leadership and stakeholder engagement, with a deep understanding of the complexities of the forensic mental health sector.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Forensicare's strategic plan, aligned to our Vision and Values
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including government agencies, service providers and consumers, to ensure our strategy is informed by their needs and priorities
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our strategy, making adjustments as necessary to ensure we remain on track to achieve our goals
  • Collaborate with our Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to develop and implement operational plans that support our strategic objectives
  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovation, leveraging best practice and evidence-based approaches to drive improvements in patient outcomes and service delivery

About You

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field, with significant experience in senior roles in strategy development and implementation
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including consumers, carers and colleagues
  • You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and implementing effective strategies that drive business results and improve patient outcomes
  • You have a deep understanding of the forensic mental health sector, including its complexities and challenges, and are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with mental illness
