Psychiatric Nurse Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our mental health team.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality assertive outreach and care coordination for adults experiencing mental health and AOD issues as well as homelessness in the community.
Location: Melbourne CBD; Employment type: Full Time or Part Time negotiable (fixed term until 12 June 2026).
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based treatment and interventions, ensuring high-quality care for vulnerable adults.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide assertive outreach and high-quality care to individuals in need.
- Work in a combination of clinic-based and community outreach settings in the CBD of Melbourne.
- Compassionate and empathetic towards homeless consumers directly in the community.
- Qualified and registered as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
- Strong team player with multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Knowledge of effective evidence-based interventions for low prevalence disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, relapse prevention, and substance abuse.
- Initiative, advanced communication skills, and willingness to further develop these.
- At least 5 years of experience in specialist services in public mental health settings with a focus on local communities and inter-agency knowledge.
