Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Database Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance, large-scale database environments.

This is a hands-on technical position focused on performance, availability, automation, and scalability across production, non-production, and disaster recovery environments.

  • Develop and maintain large, high-throughput PostgreSQL databases
  • Implement replication, tuning, upgrades, patching, and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Contribute to automation and monitoring efforts to reduce manual intervention and improve system reliability
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and development teams globally to drive innovation and efficiency
  • Participate in HA/DR planning, testing, and documentation to ensure business continuity
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and change management processes
Key Skills & Experience
  • 5–8 years' experience as a DBA in enterprise environments
  • Advanced PostgreSQL expertise (replication, tuning, backup/recovery, partitioning)
  • Experience with RHEL (preferably RHEL 9), clustering, and shell scripting
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
  • Experience with Oracle (Exadata/ODA, OEM, patching/migrations)
  • Familiarity with Commvault, pgBackRest, or equivalent backup solutions
  • Understanding of networking basics (firewalls, routing, protocols)
