Key Responsibilities

The Senior Policy Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice and briefings on matters related to engagement with Commonwealth, state and territory governments and other external governance bodies.
  • Conceptualising and developing advocacy strategies, campaign frameworks, issue resolution, funding and/or policy change proposals.
  • Consulting with members of a professional association, particularly with professionals who have a variety of experience and skills in public policy.
  • Rapidly appraising large volumes of information and deriving critical issues for the physiotherapist workforce.
  • Liaising with high-level stakeholders and handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
