About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Rural Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Ochre Medical Centre Parkes.

Key Highlights:
  • $200,000 + salary package including a $25,000 incentive start-up payment
  • High billing practice with optional hospital ED shifts
  • DPA and MM4 location
  • Eligible for RVTS, ACRRM IP, RACGP PEP/FSP – GP Training Pathway
About You

You will be a qualified General Practitioner holding AHPRA General Registration or FRACGP/FRACRRM Fellowship. We are looking for someone who is passionate about health outcomes and Chronic Disease Management, with flexible working days (part-time or full-time hours).

The Community

Parkes is a rural town in central New South Wales with a population of around 15,000. The town boasts a lively, contemporary atmosphere and a diverse range of local attractions, making it a major tourist destination.

The adjoining Visitor Discovery Centre is popular with tourists travelling through central New South Wales, eager to learn about astronomy and Australia's role in space exploration, and visit the main feature of the classic Australian comedy film 'The Dish.'

Residents of Parkes enjoy warm summers and mild winters, beautiful regional scenery, and plenty of local parks and reserves – an extremely family-friendly location setting.

Parkes airport has daily flights to Sydney (45-minute flight), and the town is within an hour's drive from Dubbo and 5 hours from Sydney.
