Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Microbiologist to join our client's team in the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting hands-on testing, preparing reagents and media, and supporting quality and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sample Testing: Perform hands-on testing of samples in the microbiology lab, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Reagent Preparation: Prepare stains, reagents, media, and solutions as needed for tests and production use.
  • Media Preparation: Prepare and test culture media to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Micro-organism Identification: Assist in identifying micro-organisms under the supervision of a microbiologist.
  • Temperature Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document laboratory temperature to maintain optimal conditions.
  • Quality Management: Support quality management systems and participate in quality control activities.
  • Validation Support: Contribute to microbiological method validations and production process validation protocols.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior lab experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
Skills:
  • Knowledge of Microbiological Techniques: Familiarity with laboratory practices and procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
