About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Conexson, a leading specialist Disability & Aged Care staffing agency. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities and their families, providing high-quality care and assistance in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and communication.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with Support Coordinators to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, adhering to Conexson's values and policies.
Requirements:
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card.
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent.
- First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, as per QLD Health Regulations.
- Flu Vaccination.
- Valid rights to work in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate, etc.).
- Manual Handling Training and Hoist experience.
- Police Check.
