The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director of Operations who can provide strategic oversight and operational leadership in business planning, financial management, reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-level financial performance insights to the CEO, Board, and key stakeholders, including operational reports for the Board. Ensuring compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and funding requirements is also a critical aspect of this role. Additionally, we require someone who can develop and implement financial strategy recommendations, oversee cash flow management, working capital, and monthly and year-end financial statements. Supporting budget development and monitoring KPIs aligned with the strategic plan is also essential. Other responsibilities include developing and managing contingency plans and related contingency funds, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, managing company insurances, and overseeing IT providers to ensure efficient service delivery that meets business needs. Building and leading a strong, high-performing team is also crucial.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of senior-level management experience in a relevant sector. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development, demonstrated expertise in strategic financial planning, comprehensive knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, taxation, and compliance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence key decisions are also required. Key Performance Indicators

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the following key performance indicators:

• Providing strategic oversight and operational leadership in business planning, financial management, reporting, and analysis.
