K-6 Support Specialist

Our school prioritizes student wellbeing and academic success. We seek a dynamic professional to join our Learning Enrichment Department as a K-6 Learning Support Teacher.
The successful candidate will possess knowledge and skills in learning support, including understanding learner variability, neurodiverse learners, and legal obligations to support students' access to learning programs. They will also have experience in designing and delivering learning support programs, collaborating with classroom teachers, and communicating with parents.
- Providing educational support to classroom teachers and students from K-6
- Designing and implementing learning support programs, including modifications and adjustments to curriculum and assessments
- Collaborating with the Learning Enrichment team and classroom teachers to deliver evidence-informed programs
- Communicating with parents and case-managing students identified with additional learning needs
The ideal candidate will have post-graduate qualifications in Inclusive Education or Special Education or a willingness to pursue such qualifications.
