Mine Site Construction Services Pty Ltd is a leading Western Australian, privately owned civil and mining construction company with over 40 years of combined industry experience; specialising in mining services, civil engineering, earthmoving, infrastructure and quarrying services.
Job OverviewThe role of Mining Supervisor involves providing hands-on leadership and direction to the bulk earthworks operations team. This includes ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Effective communication with the team and broader site team.
- Ensure safety and risk mitigation systems are adhered to.
- Identify efficiency and effectiveness of assets, including people, plant, and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and daily interaction with teams.
- Provide technical support and direction to the team.
- Deliver accurate and timely data and reporting.
- Promote a diverse, inclusive, and dynamic work culture that promotes safety in all that we do.
- Cert IV Frontline Leadership Training.
- Formal training in safety and health is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar position and successful track record managing a productive and cohesive team.
- Exposure to mining environment and preferably bulk commodity or mineral sands mining, preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Well-developed communication skills with the proven ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with blue and white-collar stakeholders.
- Proven ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives.
