The position of Analytics Engineer plays a crucial role in the organisation's data consolidation program. This individual will design and develop data models and reporting layers that serve as a single source of truth across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Design robust, well-documented data models in BigQuery using dbt
- Develop and manage a centralised reporting data layer ensuring consistency and accuracy
- Migrate dashboards from legacy platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to the new consolidated environment
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business logic into scalable data solutions
- Implement data quality controls and governance practices
- Monitor and optimise workflows for performance and cost efficiency
- Strong background in data modelling and transformation
- Hands-on experience with dbt and Google BigQuery (or similar cloud data platforms)
- Experience migrating dashboards and reports across BI platforms

- Proven ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
