Job Overview

We are seeking a senior Emergency Medicine professional to lead and contribute to our dynamic Emergency Department team in South Australia.


This is an opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped facility serving a diverse regional population in a picturesque setting near Barossa Valley and Adelaide.


Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management for emergency presentations.
  • Lead and supervise junior doctors, nurses, and allied health staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance.
  • Contribute to teaching, training, and research activities.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to strengthen emergency services.

Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent.
  • Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Proven leadership and teaching skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Interest in rural and regional healthcare challenges.
