About the Role:

The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) will provide strong clinical leadership and support the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care in line with best practice and regulatory standards. Working closely with the Director of Nursing, the CNM will play a key role in day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional clinical governance and fostering a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Clinical Oversight: Provide guidance and mentoring to care staff
  2. Care Coordination: Manage care delivery for residents, ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
  3. Staff Development: Support the DON in workforce management, staff development, and performance
  4. Reporting and Audits: Attend to clinical reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  5. Liaison: Liaise with residents and families, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction
  6. Collaboration: Participate in board and operational meetings, contributing to service development and innovation
About You:
  1. Qualifications: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  2. Experience: Demonstrated clinical leadership experience within residential aged care
  3. Skills: Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, ACFI/AN-ACC, and regulatory compliance
  4. Citizenship: Full Australian working rights – no sponsorship available
  5. Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  6. Leadership Style: Collaborative leadership style and passion for person-centred care
  7. Management Experience: Experience managing care teams and supporting performance development
  8. Technical Skills: Proficiency in clinical documentation systems and reporting tools
