Job Description

A national leader in the food industry has achieved rapid growth and become a significant player with a strong manufacturing, distribution, and logistics presence.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive transformation, deliver cost savings, and build structure across the supply chain function.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping how the business manages freight, logistics, and supply to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the end-to-end supply chain function, encompassing warehousing, 3PL, logistics, and freight management.
  • Developing and executing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Negotiating and managing supplier and logistics contracts to secure competitive rates and enhance service delivery.
  • Establishing robust processes and structures to provide accurate visibility of freight and true landed costs from all international and domestic markets.
  • Evaluating supply chain performance and ensuring suppliers are held accountable for damages, delays, or inefficiencies.
  • Partnering closely with internal stakeholders, including trading, value-add/processing, and customer service, to ensure supply aligns with business needs.
  • Driving transformation projects to optimize warehouse layouts, throughput, and pick accuracy.
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to existing supply chain staff, building career pathways for the team.
