The Medical Workforce Unit is responsible for medical workforce planning and the recruitment of senior medical staff (SMS) and junior medical staff (JMS) across Northern Health. This portfolio will be working with our exciting and innovative Division of Virtual Care.
About the Job:
- Collaborate with the Director of Medical Workforce and Medical Workforce Leadership team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Coordinate CME claims and maintain accurate records.
- Develop an understanding of the operational needs of clinical units to support senior medical staffing and resolve workforce issues promptly.
- Consult with the Heads of Units and Divisional Directors on future staffing requirements and assist with business case development.
- Act as a single point of contact for internal stakeholders on SMS employment matters.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain accurate databases.
