We are seeking a creative and driven Creative Director - Apparel to lead our apparel design team. As a Creative Director - Apparel, you will be responsible for developing and executing the visual direction for our apparel portfolio.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and implementing global and market trends to grow sales through great looking everyday products for a modern, relaxed lifestyle.
- Visually articulating and effectively communicating the direction for the season.
- Maintaining strong aesthetic taste and having an eye for the next trend that is commercial and can be bought in volume.
You will work closely with key stakeholders to create and deliver a customer-centric product range. This role requires a thorough understanding of product materials and construction, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Fashion Graphic Design, Textiles or Buying.
- A minimum of 7+ years of designing experience in a fast-paced preferably retail environment or supplier to DDS.
- Proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
