Alternative Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Doctor to join our team as an Alternative Medicine Specialist. As part of our dynamic and highly motivated team, you will be working closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in alternative health treatments and possess excellent communication skills. You will be conducting Telehealth consultations via Coviu and prescribing alternative treatment plans to patients for a spectrum of physical and mental conditions.

In this role, you will influence both patient outcomes and clinical satisfaction through best-in-class systems, protocols, and ongoing support. You will also have the opportunity to shape the evolving healthcare landscape by developing clinical insights, setting industry benchmarks, and influencing regulatory standards that define patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Telehealth consultations via Coviu
  • Prescribing alternative treatment plans to patients
  • Developing personalized treatment plans
  • Working closely with patients to achieve optimal outcomes

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree
  • AHPRA registration with nil restrictions or conditions
  • Experience working within the Australian healthcare system
  • Authorised Prescriber (AP) for medicinal cannabis highly regarded but not mandatory
  • Availability to work a minimum of 15.2 hours per week
