Role Overview

The organization is seeking a Trainee Community Support Officer to join their Home and Community Care Services team. This position involves coordinating and facilitating activities for senior community members, supporting meal delivery services, managing community car bookings, and administering daily operations of the Home and Community Services program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate activities for senior community members.
• Support meal delivery services.
• Manage community car bookings.
• Administer daily operations of the Home and Community Services program.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Completed Year 10 or equivalent.
• Demonstrated desire to learn and pursue a career in Community Services.
• Able to undertake training and study to achieve a Certificate III in Community Services.
• Effective communication skills.
• Able to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to use applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).
• Possession of a valid P1 Driver's License (Car).
