About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscaping Operative to join our team. As a Landscaping Operative, you will be responsible for installing landscape materials, operating heavy machinery, and maintaining equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn new skills. You will be working in a fast-paced outdoor environment, so it's essential that you are physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install landscape materials including mulch, soil, and aggregates
  • Operate heavy machinery such as blowers, hydroseeders, and slinger trucks
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine checks
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials
  • Record keeping and reporting

Requirements:

  • A current driver's license
  • Existing MR, HR & HC driving licenses highly regarded but not essential
  • A reasonable level of fitness
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
