Job Title: Primary Care Clinician

This is a highly sought-after opportunity to be a primary care clinician in a mixed practice environment. As a key team member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to both small animal and production animal species.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing routine and complex veterinary cases across the Production Animal Service and Small Animal Hospital with a high level of expertise.
  • Participating in on-call rosters during evenings and weekends with flexibility and professionalism.
  • Providing clinical instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate students, interns, and residents with patience and dedication.
  • Supporting and training veterinary nurses, technicians, and junior clinicians with excellent communication skills.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and enhancing services to increase caseloads effectively.

About You:
  • A Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent, registrable in Queensland with relevant qualifications.
  • Relevant experience in delivering veterinary clinical services in production animal practice and/or mixed animal practice with a proven track record.
  • Demonstrated accountability, proactive attitude, and enthusiasm to identify and contribute to improvements within the Production Animal Service and Small Animal Hospital.
  • Commitment and passion for the education of Veterinary Science and Veterinary Technology students.
