Role and Responsibilities:
  • Undertake assessments and provide intervention, liaising with families, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Interventions will be carried out in the community and clinic, with a focus on evidence-based practice
  • Contract: Services will be provided on a fee-for-service basis, with caseloads tailored to your interests and availability
  • Permanent: Participate in regular supervision and support, provide support and encouragement to other team members, and participate in group interventions
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Speech Pathology (with SPA membership)
  • Passion for facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for children or adults with a disability and their families
  • Experience as a Speech Pathologist is preferred, but not essential
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families
  • Current driver's license and car
  • Working with Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid training (or willingness to obtain)
  • If contractor: ABN and insurances (or willingness to obtain)
