Clinical Nurse Specialist

Clinical nurse educators play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Provide expert education and training to staff, graduates, and students on mental health services and their roles and responsibilities.
- Support staff in applying problem-solving and reflective skills in their clinical practice.
- Identify learning needs of staff within the mental health service and develop targeted strategies to address these.
- Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and professional role modeling in promoting a high standard of evidence-based nursing care.
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Current registration as a nurse with the relevant authority is required.
- A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience is necessary.
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications in area of specialty are highly desirable.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient and staff safety through the maintenance of safe practice.
They will also provide written reports for graduate nurses, conduct continuing professional development sessions, and collaborate with the education services department.
