About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our School Leaver Employment Supports team on a Casual basis. This position involves working closely with participants and school leavers to build capacity towards employment, using strong networking, organisational, and communication skills to create successful relationships with various stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities- Build a professional relationship with participants at different stages of their employment journey
- Provide a positive and supportive environment for people with disability to help them reach their employment goals
- Create individual support plans and 12-week plans that outline the participants' journey towards finding and keeping a job
- Identify opportunities that enable individuals to reach their full potential as valued members of their community, in line with their NDIS goals, including work experience activities
- Facilitate individual and group activities, using enabling styles such as job readiness skills, volunteering/work experience, and confidence building
- E nsure efficiency and compliance with administrative processes, aligning with organisational policies, procedures, legislative requirements, and guidelines from the National Disability Insurance Agency
- Maintain data integrity and efficiently manage workload, prioritising tasks to complete all work within designated timeframes
To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated, and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills. You should also possess resilience, patience, and the ability to work with complex behaviors. A reliable vehicle with current comprehensive car insurance is essential.
