Global Treasury Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Treasury Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Global Treasury department, you will be responsible for managing liquidity and funding requirements of the Sydney branch and Hong Kong and Singapore branches as required.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and knowledge of financial markets, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
You will have a strong background in finance, economics or a related field, and at least four years of experience in banking and financial services. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people at various levels of the organization are essential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing liquidity and funding requirements of the Sydney branch and Hong Kong and Singapore branches as required.
- Junior Portfolio Manager for State Street Sydney Branch.
- Working with the credit analyst team to ensure credit quality and 4 eyes principle for credit investments.
- Monitoring and evaluating local market conditions in the context of global market conditions and communicating relevant information to senior portfolio managers and senior management as necessary.
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of financial markets.
- Demonstrate high flexibility towards undertaking additional responsibilities as required to contribute to team's success.
- Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills (coding skills are an additional benefit).
- Capacity to learn new technologies/systems.
