The OCEAN tool is a newly developed online data collection platform that collects and analyses clinical activity data from primary care clinicians. As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with the research team to align development with project goals and ensure the platform meets user needs.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable web applications using Django
- Provide comprehensive support for users via email and phone, addressing technical issues and guiding users to smooth their experience
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and professional experience
- Strong ability to build and maintain scalable web applications and leverage Django's built-in security features
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non-technical team members
