Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare assigned programs, including lesson planning and instructional materials
  • Instruct assigned classes, providing clear and effective instruction to participants
  • Evaluate participants, providing feedback and guidance to improve their skills
  • Record keeping and public relations, ensuring that all necessary records are maintained and that participants are informed of program details
  • Work varying shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, as required

Requirements:

  • Certification as an Aquatic Instructor with the Lifesaving Society
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings
