Job Title: Oral Health Therapist

Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a highly skilled Oral Health Therapist to join their team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of the service.

About the Role

The Oral Health Therapist will be responsible for undertaking assessments and treatments of priority clients within our public dental service and school dental program. They will provide direct patient care in accordance with AWH and Oral Health Victoria clinical standards and evidence-based practice.

  • Provide dental care within the scope of practice under the Dental Board of Australia for Oral Health Therapists/Dental Therapists
  • Direct patient care in accordance with AWH and Oral Health Victoria clinical standards and evidence-based practice
  • Experience in providing oral health therapy care for clients from priority and vulnerable populations
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • AHPRA registration and radiation license
  • Scope to provide treatment to all age groups is highly desirable

• Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of the service

• Undertake assessments and treatments of priority clients within our public dental service and school dental program

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality patient outcomes

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
