This is an opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals who are passionate about mental health and wellbeing. The role involves participating in regular meetings to provide input into all aspects of the service.
About the RoleThe Consumer and Family Reference Group is a valuable resource to our core business, supporting individuals whose lives are impacted by mental health issues. This means providing a personalized service that is tailored to assist each individual on their recovery path.
No one else is better qualified to assist us achieve this outcome than people with lived and living experience. We believe in sharing the journey and valuing their voice.
- This will involve fostering a positive partnering environment in planning and decision-making to ensure high-quality, person-centred and family-centred care that is recovery focused.
- Providing strategies for a psychosocially safe organisational culture and welcoming environment.
The regular meetings are held monthly from February to November each year.
BenefitsMembers will receive a sitting fee of $131.25 per scheduled 3-hour meeting (includes 30 minutes paid preparation time).
Expression of InterestWe welcome expressions of interest from current and previous clients and their family supports. External mental health consumers and carers are also welcome.
