The Industrial Refrigeration Apprenticeship is a unique opportunity to start your career in a thriving industry. Partnered with Gordon Brothers Industries, you will complete a UEE32220 Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration while working on-site and learning from industry professionals.

The role involves assisting technicians to service and maintain large industrial units, installing pipework, and learning to read plans and technical drawings. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including installing evaporators and mounting units on site.

As a Mechanical Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of refrigeration systems. You will work closely with the team to identify and resolve issues, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The apprenticeship is a 4-year contract, with paid annual and personal leave, and access to 1:1 mentoring. You will also have the opportunity to access Govt subsidy payments of up to a total of $5000 for the first 2 years of your apprenticeship.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have good mechanical aptitude, the ability and confidence to ask questions, and a positive attitude. You will also need to have a driver's licence, a construction White Card, and good safety awareness and understanding.
