We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team at Fortinet, a leading cybersecurity company.

Job Summary

This role will involve providing advanced technical support to customers worldwide, utilizing strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues related to data networking protocols and security products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical assistance to customers via phone, email, or remote desktop sessions.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical cases, including procedures and best practices for future reference.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development to ensure seamless customer experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in the telco and large enterprise space.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux, or Unix, as well as data networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and security products (firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS, VPN, web application firewall).
  • Excellent communication and customer handling skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
