About Our Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, wiring, lighting and power systems.
Your daily tasks will include reading and updating technical diagrams and plans, performing residential and commercial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and repairing or replacing equipment, wiring or fixtures.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical control systems, wiring, lighting and power systems
- Read and update technical diagrams and plans
- Perform residential and commercial electrical maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Repair or replace equipment, wiring or fixtures
Requirements:
- Completion of electrician apprenticeship with an 'A' grade licence
- Valid manual driver's licence
- White card
- Security installer or data cable licence preferred
- Police clearance required
- EWP and working at heights accreditation preferred
