Job Summary

We seek a skilled Highway Engineer to join our team. This role will involve technical responsibilities in the development of urban and rural highway/roadway projects under the direction of a Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in highway design, including urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout, and CAD base alignment plans.

Responsibilities include overseeing the work of CAD Designers, preparing detailed engineering designs for roadway and highway projects, participating in activities ranging from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phase, and interacting with clients as needed.

Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in highway design
  • Experience should include urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout, and CAD base alignment plans
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using MicroStation, InRoads, Open Roads Designer (ORD), LDD or other CAD design software
  • MS Office knowledge
