About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team. Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with computational biologists to design and implement scalable cloud-based infrastructure
- Developing and deploying high-performance software solutions using Python, C++, Go, Scala, Typescript, and other prominent languages
- Collaborating with our software engineering team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of systems
- Communicating progress regularly, flagging risks and roadblocks early on
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in fullstack software development, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Expertise in databases, including Postgres, MariaDB, MySQL, and query optimisation techniques
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code deployments, including Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team
