Medical Director

Aspen Medical is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Medical Director to lead our team in Makassar, Indonesia. This role is responsible for ensuring that healthcare laws and regulations are implemented in daily practices, facility or department budgets are monitored, and strategies are developed for continuous process improvement of hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee operations for patient care by the Medical Department according to the rules and regulations of the Indonesian Medical Council and all other federal and local laws, rules and regulations.
- Establish measurable performance expectations, provide supervision, coaching, and counselling, and evaluate and discipline providers and other Medical Department staff.
- Participate in quality assurance (QA) and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities, including regularly scheduled meetings, clinical audits, and peer reviews.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution; board certification in a specialty field preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare.
- Prior experience as a medical director/leader for at least five years.
