Role Overview

The organization is seeking a skilled MuleSoft Integration Engineer to be part of the Integration team within the Strategic Projects division. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization's ICT development initiatives, aligned with the strategic vision, facilitate seamless and reliable access to data and functionalities from diverse sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your expertise in MuleSoft 4 to create experience, process, and system API assets.
  • Work collaboratively with Architects, Integration Analysts, Designers, Business Analysts, and Testers to interpret the comprehensive integration design and technical specifications for building the integration solution.
  • Assist in the formulation and maintenance of quality integration standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of specifications for data integration, focusing on both content and structure for end-to-end replication from source to target systems.
  • Monitor relevant systems and their integration performance, conducting tuning activities to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop reusable assets and components in accordance with the standards and patterns established across the project.
  • Conduct configuration testing and documentation, supporting the System Integration Testing (SIT) efforts.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to aid in the transition of services to the Business As Usual (BAU) support team.
  • Adhere to an incremental delivery approach to enable early and continuous project delivery.

Essential Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated experience in integrating the MuleSoft 4 platform within a complex ICT landscape.
  2. Proven ability in designing and delivering RESTful services and asynchronous eventing, including API design.
  3. Formal certifications and a track record of 3-5 years in integration development.
  4. Experience in Agile CI/CD development and working within a DevOps framework.
  5. Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team, fostering relationships and managing stakeholder expectations.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and possess the ability to obtain baseline security clearance.
