We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our team on a 2-month contract basis. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality mental health services to consumers, promoting awareness and support in relation to mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and provide active, therapeutic engagement with consumers.
- Monitor and review mental state and response to treatments, and provide ongoing psychotherapeutic work using various modalities and techniques.
- Promote awareness of mental health and provide information to other agencies regarding support and management of consumers with mental health needs.
- Support the development of others through participation in orientation and preceptoring nurses and other members of the health team.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
